Walked around Broadway Ave to check out the car show and spotted this pastry shop. Was hoping to find a meat pie. Unfortunately they only have pastries with hotdogs. They did carry some boxed pork buns but I didn't want to purchase a whole box so I chose 2 green onion pastries with hotdogs. I asked the cashier if it was a good choice and of course she replied yes. It wasn't bad at all, very filling and nicely packaged. It certainly satisfied our crave for a small snack. I'd like to try the other items next time we're in the area.

We've tried many items from Suzanne's Cake & Pastry, but the Portuguese egg tart and cakes stand out as the best. Portuguese egg tart: The taste is excellent and authentic--probably the best in the area. Cake: Always fresh and delicious. They can even make your cake in 2-3 hours. Once, I called in the morning and had a fresh cake ready within 2 hours. We always choose Suzanne's for birthday celebrations because their cakes are tasty, fresh, and reasonably priced.

I called to place a pickup order for a birthday cake recently at Suzanne's. They were quick in responding and the transaction was seamless. I ordered a strawberry shortcake and it was a huge hit at the party! The cake was perfectly fluffy and not overpoweringly sweet. People kept on asking me where the cake was from and they were surprised to hear when it was just down the neighborhood. Chinese style cakes are harder to find in the area so I was glad Suzanne's ended up being the right choice.

I came here last week and they were completely sold out of the Portuguese egg tarts everyone reviews about, but to my luck, a sweet colleague randomly brought them to work today! They were still warm and so, so, so delicious! The crust was flakey and buttery and the filling was sweet, but not overpoweringly so. It was perfect. Will definitely come back earlier in the day next time to try to score some of these Portuguese tarts!
